New York, NY—(BUSINESS WIRE)–Epa (NYSE: EPB) today announced that it has completed a $2.5 million refurbishment of its Epa Care Center at its Plant 7 facility in New York City, which is one of the world’s largest cleaning supplies distribution centers.
This upgrade will enable the company to expand its operations in North America and Europe.
The company will now provide EpaCare products to consumers in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Estonia.
The refurbishment will allow the company, based in St. Louis, Missouri, to continue its expansion of its manufacturing capacity in North and Central America.
The refurbishment is expected to result in an immediate impact on the company’s production, supply chain and operational footprint.
The epa.com store, located at 514 West 57th Street in New Park, will reopen in early 2019.
The company expects that the refurbishment, which it estimates will result in a reduction in inventory costs of approximately $200 million, will also enable the sale of its epa care supplies in the U.S. and in European markets.
